Description This is a Robotics Engineer position where you will be working on cutting-edge mobile outdoor robotics projects, utilizing technologies such as Real-Time OS, ROS2, Perception Sensors, Algorithms, and AWS to enhance and deploy an innovative vehicle control architecture. As a Robotics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and debugging changes to the core vehicle control stack. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from enhancing existing software to planning new architectural road maps, designing features, testing, and deployment. This position can be conducted remotely, in a hybrid format, or on-site, collaborating with both on-site and remote developers. This role offers high impact and rewards as you will be working with real autonomous vehicles and advanced hardware and software technologies daily. Requirements: • Proficiency in C++, Javascript, and real-time system/resource/networking • Experience in developing, debugging, and deploying complex real-time ROS2 stacks (Navigation, Point Cloud Processing, Sensor Fusion, etc) • Familiarity with integrating a variety of AWS APIs and Services • Understanding or proficiency in 3D Perception algorithms, Neural Networks is a plus • Knowledge in SIM environment setup and management is advantageous • Proficiency in using GitHub for version control and collaborative development • Familiarity with software testing, debugging, and real-time performance optimization • Awareness of security best practices and data protection • Ability to adapt to different software projects and technologies quickly, with excellent communication skills for working independently or as part of a team. The level and hourly rate for this position will be determined on a case-by-case basis, considering factors such as job-related skills, education, experience, and location.
