<h2>Specialist Marketing- Full Time, Casino Marketing (Harrah\'s SoCal)</h2><p>Valley Center, CA, United States (On-site)</p><h2>Job Description</h2><p>As a Marketing Specialist, your job will be to develop and maintain relationships with valued gaming guests while expanding awareness of the fun to be had in Funner, CA through our numerous amenities and events. You will also facilitate the execution of our events and promotions and expand our customer base through connecting with new and existing clients. This vital role directedly impacts revenue growth, offering you an opportunity to make a positive effect on our business.</p><ul><li>Must have a proven track record of personally providing excellent customer service.</li><li>Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, team-building and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Must have flexibility in your schedule and be willing to work any shift when necessary.</li><li>Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.</li><li>Must have basic knowledge in Microsoft Office 365.</li><li>College degree in marketing, hotel or business preferred but not required.</li><li>Must be a team player with an amicable personality and the ability to cooperate with others.</li><li>Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance.</li></ul><p><strong>About the role:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintains close ties with guests through regular personal contact either by phone, email or in person.</li><li>Executes events inside casino, at social events and special promotions.</li><li>Staffs special event registration areas.</li><li>Aid in unboxing promotional items and event space set-up.</li><li>Assist in the check-in of charter buses and help facilitate new-card sign ups.</li><li>Anticipates guests’ needs and quickly responds to guests’ requests to arrange transportation and accommodations.</li><li>Effectively uses telemarketing, mail, and other marketing techniques to increase visitation patterns among target customers.</li><li>Uses sound judgment and makes good decisions while following established guidelines.</li><li>Must be able to independently manage and prioritize time and tasks to optimize efficiencies and results.</li><li>Handles difficult situations or guests in a calm, professional and prudent manner.</li><li>Fully complies with all applicable rules, regulations, laws, and policies and conducts themselves with highest levels of integrity and honesty.</li></ul><p><strong>A few more things:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to continuously maneuver around office.</li><li>Must be able to move quickly around property, including in and around Gaming Pit areas.</li><li>Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, twist and work at a desk.</li><li>Responds to visual and aural cues.</li><li>Must be able to work independently and proven to be self-motivated.</li><li>Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.</li><li>Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.</li><li>Must be able to lift and carry 20lbs.</li></ul><p>The above is a minimal description of duties and responsibilities.
