We support industries including aerospace, medical, power generation, and motorsports by solving complex manufacturing challenges and improving process efficiency.</p><p>We're entering an exciting phase of growth, relocating to the Midlands to bring Kyocera SGS and Kyocera Unimerco Tooling together under one roof-creating Kyocera's largest carbide tooling site in Europe.</p><p>As part of this expansion, we're now looking for an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Engineer to play a key role in supporting our manufacturing operations and facilities.</p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you'll take ownership of site maintenance and facilities, ensuring manufacturing equipment and building services operate safely, reliably, and efficiently. You'll play a key role in minimising downtime, improving preventative maintenance, and supporting the continued growth of the business.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing plant and equipment to minimise downtime</li><li>Plan and deliver preventative maintenance schedules in line with compliance requirements</li><li>Maintain equipment documentation and ensure adherence to Health & Safety standards</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, digitisation, and monitoring systems</li><li>Manage spare parts, suppliers, and maintenance contractors</li><li>Oversee day-to-day building and facilities maintenance, including utilities and environmental services</li><li>Act as the primary contact for facilities issues, including out-of-hours support when required</li></ul><p><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance Engineering</li><li>5 years experience as a Maintenance Engineer, or similar within a manufacturing environment</li><li>Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, ideally with CNC machinery</li><li>Hands-on, proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving</li><li>Sound knowledge of Health & Safety and statutory compliance requirements</li><li>Clear communicator, able to work effectively with internal teams and external contractors</li></ul><p><strong>What You'll Get in Return</strong></p><p>We offer a competitive salary and a strong benefits package, including:</p><ul><li>22 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service</li><li>An extra paid day off on your birthday</li><li>Company pension with 5% employer contribution</li><li>Private medical insurance (after 12 months)</li><li>Health Cashback Plan</li><li>Group Life Assurance and Income Protection</li><li>Employee Referral Scheme</li><li>Regular social activities</li></ul><p>…plus more, all designed to support your wellbeing and recognise your contribution.</p><p>Initial training will take place at our Wokingham site and will continue until mid-April, with all accommodation and travel expenses covered by the company.
