Job Posting Title: Senior Manager, Media Planning (Hulu) Req ID: 10089304 Job Description: As a Senior Manager on the Media Planning team for Hulu, you will lead the development and execution of innovative media campaigns to enhance our Hulu brand visibility and drive user engagement with our shows and sign ups to our subscription service. You will leverage your expertise in media planning... buying, and optimization to maximize the impact of our marketing efforts across all paid media channels. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and agency partners, you will analyze market trends, consumer insights, and campaign performance metrics to inform strategic decisions and continuously refine our media strategies and plans. You will drive all aspects of developing integrated media plans from media strategy development (e.g. media brief, audience development, media mix, flighting strategy, learning agenda development), tactical media plan development across all media channels and paid media partners (excluding paid social, devices and programmatic) to overseeing the execution (e.g. creative project management, creating media authorizations, shepherding media contracts for media and media measurement and research vendors through legal approvals), reporting & optimizations recommendations of live media campaigns and deep budget management and invoice reconciliation support. Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive media plans that align with business objectives and target audience demographics. Drive forward unique creative visions, working closely with Marketing to execute on creative strategies to attract viewers and engage our subscribers. Responsible for presenting the media campaign to EPs and senior executives. Oversee media buying and negotiation processes to optimize budget allocation and maximize ROI across digital, traditional, and emerging media platforms. Lead the implementation of integrated marketing campaigns, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution. Utilize data-driven insights and analytical tools to monitor campaign performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to inform strategic planning and maintain a competitive edge in the market. Foster strong relationships with media partners, vendors, and agencies to leverage collaborative opportunities and drive mutually beneficial partnerships. Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of media professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous learning. Basic Qualifications 8+ years of experience in integrated media planning for entertainment brands. Passionate about coming up with innovative and unique creative media ideas. Ability to juggle multiple simultaneous competing projects across 250+ paid media partners. Ability to inspire, motivate, and influence others internally and externally. Flexibility; the desire and ability to pivot tactics in real-time. A comprehensive understanding of integrated media planning and buying across all media channels (including paid social, devices and programmatic). Exceptional attention to detail for analytics, reporting and optimization recommendations. Strong agency and media partner management and senior relationship building skills. Senior media seller relationships. Preferred Qualifications Streaming experience. Ideally both agency and client-side experience. Multi-cultural media planning expertise. The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $102,000 to $136,700 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
