Responsibilities

  • Operate at both a massive and nuanced scale, toggling between exposing Stripe’s payment infrastructure to in-person via APIs and experiences and thinking through areas like reducing fraud, driving the best in class authorization rates for our merchants, and expanding payment capabilities.
  • Partner directly with an experienced team of Engineers, Legal, Partnerships, Finance, Product Sales, Product Marketing, Data Science and Technical Operations Specialists
  • Set a motivating multi-year vision and then break it down into measurable, meaningful milestones for the Terminal Core Payments team. This includes creating buy-in, crafting roadmaps and OKRs, and navigating trade-offs
  • Represent Terminal and Stripe in external forums like front of users: directly engaging in product discovery and roadmapping conversations

Skills

  • 10+ years of product management experience or equivalent
  • Technically adept systems thinker, ideally with a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working on developer products (APIs, SDKs) and building interfaces that support both internal or external users.
  • Demonstrated success and strong execution track record in building payment products
  • Great interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication. You can make complex concepts accessible with clear communication.
  • Experience working in the in-person payments space
