<div><p>As the Marketing Copywriter at Crescent Electric you will create and take ownership of copy creation and play a key role in content strategy for all marketing efforts in a variety of mediums and formats. This role will be embedded in Crescent's marketing team, and work closely with the product management, HR, supply chain, customer experience, eCommerce, digital, and sales teams to bring awareness of company initiatives and drive sales.</p></div><div><p></p><p><b>Primary Duties: </b></p><ul><li><p>Craft a clear and compelling brand voice across all touch points applying expert knowledge of B2B communications.</p></li><li><p>Interpret creative direction and technical information and turn them into persuasive copy concepts.</p></li><li><p>Create copy to support the execution of Crescent’s brand strategy, value proposition, demand generation, and content strategy. </p></li><li><p>Work with internal clients to edit and modify copy to meet their content expectations.  </p></li><li><p>Serve as a subject matter expert and thought leader in the copy development process.</p></li><li><p>Write with a conversion-driven approach, optimizing copy that will drive measurably impactful results in SEO uplift, lead generation, and online and offline sales.</p></li><li><p>Uphold the values of the company and its culture, consistently demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and the highest standards of ethical behavior and professional conduct.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications: </b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Advertising; or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree.</p></li><li><p>3+ years of experience working in a marketing, advertising, and/or creative copy capacity.</p></li><li><p>Exceptional writing and research skills, with the ability to develop a unique voice for the Crescent Electrical Supply Company family of brands.</p></li><li><p>Strong conceptual thinking skills with a passion for developing user narratives, engaging content, and storytelling using a results-oriented approach.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated knowledge of SEO concepts and social media marketing.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated ability to write effective copy for online and offline marketing and/or advertising campaigns.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated knowledge of Google Analytics.</p></li><li><p>Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.</p></li><li><p>Creativity, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.</p></li><li><p>Ability to travel up to 5% of the time with overnight stays.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Physical Demands: </b></p></div><ul><li><p>Occasionally standing and walking.</p></li><li><p>Frequent sitting.</p></li><li><p>Often use of hands/fingers.</p></li><li><p>Often talking/hearing.</p></li><li><p>Often reaching with hands/arms.</p></li><li><p>Close vision needed (clear vision at 20 inches or less) to be able to view computer screen.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>#LI-CECE<br>#LI-REMOTE</p><ul><li><p>Ability to distinguish colors.</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Total Rewards and Benefits</b></p><p style="text-align:left">Crescent Electric's compensation package includes an array of top-tier benefit options, including: </p><ul><li>Eligibility for health,  and dental, vision coverage, 401(k) plan, and flexible spending accounts, subject to plan terms.</li><li>Eligibility for company-paid benefits such as life insurance, short-term disability, long-term care, and Employee Assistance Program, subject to applicable waiting periods.</li><li>Excused Absence time off and Paid Time Off (PTO).</li><li>Company-paid holidays.</li><li>Other benefits for which you may be eligible includes supplemental life insurance, hospital indemnity, and accident and critical illness benefits with cancer coverage.</li><li>Eligibility: Employees are eligible for health, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits on the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
