Azure and Power Platform Developer/Architect - Bill Rate - $100-$110

Job Description

Experienced Azure and Power Platform Developer/Architect required to work on the building Azure infrastructure and Power Platform automation framework for a global financial organization. This role requires a strong combination of developer and infrastructure knowledge and experience. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate technical leadership with a track record of developing and driving innovative solutions for public cloud.

Primary responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance the automation framework for Power Platform and Dynamics365
  • Enhance and contribute to Azure and Power Platform architecture
  • Develop tooling and self-service capabilities
  • Integrate automation workflows into CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to enhance the developer experience
  • Contribute to major design decisions and product selection for the Azure infrastructure and Power Platform framework


Required Skills
  • Experience with Azure and Power Platform cloud architecture design and application integration/refactoring to work with public cloud
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code

  • Expert knowledge on infrastructure as code languages such as Terraform
  • Expert scripting skills (e.g. Powershell, Python)
  • Experience of designing systems to scale in an enterprise environment
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, ability to work closely with multi-discipline teams, business partners, and sponsors
  • Strong sense of operational ownership and ability to drive engineering and development initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global organization and across time zones

Exp: 8-13 years

Required Skills

- Hands-on Public Cloud experience (Azure or AWS)

- Strong experience working with cloud services (preferably Azure or AWS) and a proven track record of building complex infrastructure

- Expert level knowledge with AWS or Azure design, architecture and services

- Hands on experience using Apache Kafka, Python/Java & Linux / Unix scripting

- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN & enterprise networking concepts

- Expertise and experience in querying data using both SQL/NoSQL

- Strong fundamentals in distributed system design and operation

- Experience building automation to operate large-scale data systems

- Experience creating technical architecture documentation

- Sound experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g.: Terraform, Ansible, Cloudformation etc.)

- Sound knowledge of server infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud computing
