EY Americas Alliances BMC Assistant Director

The Opportunity

Alliances and Ecosystems are at the heart of innovation at EY and enable us to achieve our growth ambitions - in particular, they accelerate EY clients’ issue-driven modernization and digital transformation. This role is responsible for building and implementing cross-service line and cross-sector strategies to enhance eminence and drive permission in the market across a strategic portfolio of integrated solutions.

In a highly agile fashion, this marketing manager will develop collaborative relationships across the Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) organization as well as with subject matter experts and relevant client-serving professionals. This individual will lead bespoke, integrated awareness and demand generation campaigns which build the EY brand, advance the commercial value of our alliance relationships, and ensure synergistic alignment between global and US activities across service lines, sectors, g2m teams and other BMC programs.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute integrated Americas Alliances Brand & Marketing strategic plans in alignment with firm priorities, Americas Alliances hypergrowth ambitions and evolving market opportunities.

  • Create moderate-to-complex integrated marketing programs and associated deliverables which inform and influence various internal and external constituencies about targeted initiatives and offerings.

  • Support the development, execution and measurement of cross-channel marketing campaigns to promote select partnership solutions. Tactics include digital paid campaigns, webcasts, video, thought leadership, content marketing, SEM, SEO, events, presentations, email campaigns, internal newsletters, among others.

  • Manage all aspects of video production, including onsite filming logistics, vendor and agency coordination, content development, review and approval of edits, and delivery of high‑quality video assets aligned to Americas Alliances priorities.

  • Innovative, creative thinking to bring pragmatic, collaborative and consultative perspective to evolving business needs.

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills that integrate across sectors, service lines, regions and other BMC programs to ensure successful delivery and high impact in the market. Adept at providing direction, guidance and mentorship for team members managing key programs and deliverables.

Skills and attributes for success

Analytical/decision-making responsibilities:

  • Work with senior leaders to develop plans to effectively communicate strategic objectives and initiatives as aligned to broader firm goals and priorities.

  • Create, develop and manage project scope and schedule for post-campaign reporting to drive data-based insights and optimize ongoing decision making.

Knowledge and skill requirements:

  • Broad experience across marketing disciplines including digital assets, social, demand generation, thought leadership, multimedia development, content marketing strategy, event and sponsorship activation and cross-channel program management.

  • Strong business acumen and executive presence.

Supervision responsibilities:

  • Supervise staff and oversee the work and development of others, including internal and external creative agencies.

  • Critical to this role is an ability to collaborate and drive consensus/action with multiple constituents including subject matter experts, market-facing teams, project stakeholders, alliances counterparts, service lines, sectors, and enabling area resources.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 7+ years previous B2B marketing experience successfully managing multiple complex projects. Substantive experience in professional services and/or alliance & partnership marketing a plus.

  • Thorough knowledge of digital content development and engagement principles across the sales funnel including comprehensive understanding of channel and tactic best practices.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a proficiency in converting complex technical concepts into compelling market messages.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Ability to flex schedules to accommodate calls with stakeholders and team members across varying time zones. Nominal travel for in-person meetings, as needed.

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $96,300 to $180,100. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $115,600 to $204,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.

  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.

  • Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
