Position Details

12 hour shifts (36 hours per week)

Day and Night shifts in weekly rotations

Only work 3 shifts a week!

Job Purpose

A fantastic opportunity to develop skills within the Print Industry as a Print Assistant. Be part of a team on large format, Lithographic print presses. Potential for progression.

In the role, you will…

Work with several crews to gain experience in all aspects of full colour carton printing.

Assist on the print press as part of a team of three.

Follow the print plan and strip raw material pallets.

Set and run the feeder.

Assist in maintenance repairs and wash up.

Carry out removal of waste materials when required.

Maintain a flexible attitude towards production requirements, to meet Company objectives and targets

Interact effectively with crew members, assisting as directed in other tasks as required.

Key Objectives

Ensure compliance with all existing systems, standards and procedures within the specific work area to satisfy both company and customer requirements .

Assist in organizing the workplace to achieve high standards of housekeeping, and report any defects, hazards and/or issues to the relevant personnel immediately.

Carry out specific tasks and duties as directed, in accordance with current skills level and targets agreed.

Adhere to all H&S policies including the H&S 8 Absolutes.
