Part Time Cleaner - Manhattan KS.

Thank you for your interest in the cleaning position, here is a basic description of what the job entails. I manage an 800 sqft Airbnb that is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath house at 10th & N. Juliette Ave. in Manhattan.

I am looking for someone to cover checkouts either during the weekends (Saturday & Sunday) between 11a - 3p

AND/OR

during the weekdays (Monday - Friday ) between 11a - 3p

The basic duties include:

  • Changing beds with fresh linens
  • Wiping down sink, toilet and tub in all bathrooms
  • Emptying any room trash into kitchen trash and emptying it after each guest.
  • Wiping down sink, counters and table in kitchen
  • Washing, drying, & putting away any dishes (guest should be doing this but there might be some on occasion)
  • Sweep / Vacuum the floors
  • Mop as needed
  • Generally keep common areas clean & tidy
  • All dirty linens & towels will need to be taken home or to the laundromat and return them with the next checkout because there is no onsite washer/dryer.
  • ALL CLEANING SUPPLIES PROVIDED

All tasks generally take around 1 - 2 hours to complete.

The pay is $40 per checkout paid via direct deposit within 5-7 business days.

Please note due to the nature of Airbnb short term rentals I may have several checkouts in a week or none at all.

But on average I get around 7 - 10 reservations a month ranging from 1 to 5 days.
