<div style="text-align: justify;">This is routine unskilled and semi-skilled part-time work involving the functions of all aspects of City operations and related public services.  Worker-trainees may perform a wide variety of office, shop and field duties not requiring formal skill training or previous work experience. As work experience is acquired, employees may be assigned to limited tasks of a semi-skilled nature. New employees of this class exercise little independent judgment in completing job tasks.  However, after the initial period of training, employee may be required to exercise some judgment based on knowledge gained through work experience. Work is closely supervised, and the employee receives specific and detailed instructions at the beginning of each new assignment.
