WordPress Developer Enterprise / WordPress VIP (Remote)

Overview: We're hiring a seasoned WordPress Developer with enterprise-level experience, specifically on the WordPress VIP platform, to help us deliver secure, performant, and scalable websites for high-traffic content and marketing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain high-performance WordPress themes and plugins

  • Work within the WordPress VIP platform to ensure code quality, security, and performance

  • Collaborate with design, content, and DevOps teams on website and CMS needs

  • Implement advanced publishing workflows, multilingual support, and custom Gutenberg blocks

  • Optimize for SEO, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness

  • Conduct code reviews and work within VIP's rigorous development standards

  • Handle large-scale content migrations and integrations with external platforms (CRM, analytics, etc.)

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of WordPress development experience, including at least 12 years with WordPress VIP or other enterprise-grade WordPress environments

  • Expertise in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (including React), HTML5, and CSS3

  • Familiarity with Git workflows and continuous integration/deployment practices

  • Understanding of WP REST API, GraphQL, and headless WordPress setups

  • Experience managing performance and security in high-scale environments

  • Ability to navigate Wordpress VIP-specific review and deployment processes
