About the position

The Warehouse Forklift Operator at Publix is responsible for skillfully maneuvering industrial powered equipment to ensure the efficient movement of products within the warehouse. This role involves operating forklifts and pallet trucks to transport cases and pallets, replenish pick locations, rotate inventory, and maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment. The position may also require filling in for Warehouse Selectors and other roles as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Maneuver powered industrial equipment to move cases and pallets within the warehouse.
  • ,
  • Transport products from the receiving dock to reserve locations.

  • Replenish pick locations as they are emptied by Warehouse Selectors.

  • Rotate inventory using the oldest stock first.
