WAN Migration Resources - Remote
Objective:<br> To work with the Dell and Dell customer program teams in a collaborative manner to execute assigned Customer WAN circuit migrations. This role will cover migration efforts across no less than 5 customer locations in the continental United States.<br> Roles and Responsibilities<br> As a Technical Migration Analyst resource, you will be working with Cisco Nexus switches, firewalls, and Juniper routers, F5 and Citrix Load Balancers, InfoBlox, CA Spectrum, and other tools to facilitate and perform migration efforts of approximately 1500 3rd Party circuits in 2 Dell customer locations in Chicago, IL and Oak Creek, WI to 3 existing data center locations. Overall tasks associated with this effort include, but not limited to:<br> • Evaluate and assess WAN circuit migration playbooks for completeness and accuracy<br> • Gain understanding of Dell Customer processes and internal support services as related to circuit migration efforts<br> • Application of logical configurations on Dell Customer network infrastructure to support circuit migration efforts.<br> • Coordination of updates to backend systems related to migrated WAN circuits such as, but not limited to;<br> o DNS server updates<br> o Firewall rule updates<br> o F5 load-balancer updates<br> o InfoBlox updates<br> o Network Management System updates<br> • Documenting and reporting migration activities as they occur<br> • Update playbooks with "as-built" post migration information<br> • Support for circuit post migration for duration of scoped time (normally 3 hours)<br><br>Technologies you will work with are, but not limited to:<br> • Primary hardware - Cisco 55128, 5548, 2248 FEX, ARX, Juniper M-series, F5<br> • MPLS, L3 VPN's, IPSec VPN, GETVPN, DMVPN, VRF, BGP, OSPF, Firewalls, F5 & Citrix Load Balancers, DNS services, InfoBlox<br><br>Qualifications: <br> Minimum Required: 1-3 years of industry networking experience<br> Candidate must speak and write concise and clear English language<br> Proficiency using assorted Microsoft Office product suite<br> Strong customer service communications skills<br> Experience in a Network Support role highly desirable<br> No Travel - 100% remote work<br><br><b>ABBTECH is an EOE/Minorities/Women/Disabled Individuals/Veterans</b>
