Volunteer Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our team of 10+ volunteers. This volunteer role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization. You will collaborate with our dedicated team of volunteers and our CEO to assist with the planning, organization, and oversight of our social media content activity, missions, and projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with various administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, and communication.
  • Contribute to content creation by conducting research for content and ministry activities.
  • Provide logistical and organizational support for other volunteers and the CEO.
  • Support content scheduling across platforms (website, social media, email marketing).
  • Help maintain a consistent brand voice and ensure all content aligns with the ministry's mission.
  • Collaborate with other volunteers, freelance writers, and designers as needed.
  • Organize and allocate tasks.
  • Monitor the progress of projects, activities, and other administrative work.
  • Assist in managing backlogs of project tasks.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including email, word processing, and internet navigation.
  • A passion for the mission of Walking in Step with God Ministries.
