Job Summary

UPWORK is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Virtual Transcriptionist / Captioner (Media) to join our growing network of remote professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for converting audio and video recordings into accurate, well-formatted written transcripts and captions. Key Responsibilities

  • Listen to and accurately transcribe audio and video files into written documents.

  • Create and synchronize captions or subtitles for media content.

  • Edit and proofread transcripts to ensure high accuracy, grammar, and readability.

  • Follow specific style guides, formatting requirements, and time-stamp conventions.

  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
