Social Media Coordinator & Content Creator

Jiffy.com is seeking a Social Media Coordinator & Content Creator who feels completely at home in front of the camera and loves bringing ideas to life through short-form content. Reporting directly to the Social Media Manager, this person will support content strategy, help plan the social calendar, and create high-quality videos—often speaking directly to the camera as the on-screen talent for Jiffy. You’ll play a key role in shaping our visual voice, sourcing creators and influencers, assisting with copywriting, and keeping our feeds filled with fresh, engaging, and educational content. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving creative environment and knows how to make content that stops the scroll.

This role follows a hybrid work model with a requirement of a minimum of three (3) days per week onsite. Employees should expect to work regularly from the office to support collaboration and business needs.

The total compensation for this role is expected to range from $70,000 to $90,000 per year. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the on-camera talent for the majority of Jiffy’s content, including IG Reels, TikToks, tutorials, product demos, and trend-driven videos.
  • Support day-to-day social media planning, including campaign brainstorming, content mapping, and idea development.
  • Create high-quality short-form content-from concept to filming to editing, that feels native to each platform.
  • Assist with social strategy: trend identification, content planning, and creative brainstorming to drive reach and engagement.
  • Source and vet UGC creators and influencers for paid and organic collaborations.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to ensure content aligns with brand voice, goals, and campaign timelines.
  • Support copywriting needs for captions, content descriptions, and occasional blog contributions.
  • Build visual assets inside Figma and Canva as needed-story graphics, templates, carousel layouts, or quick-turn creative.
  • Provide insight into real-time platform trends, new formats, and performance opportunities that can elevate the brand.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of TikTok + Instagram best practices, creator culture, and short-form content trends.
  • Experience with short-form video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Express, Premiere, or similar).
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to write engaging, platform-native copy.
  • Experience sourcing influencers/UGC creators and understanding creator workflows.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • No degree required, portfolio, experience, and creative instincts matter most.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience appearing on behalf of a brand or creating on-camera content professionally.
  • Familiarity with ecommerce, crafting/maker communities, or DIY education.
  • Basic understanding of paid social and how creative affects performance.
