Server/Waiter

Position Summary:

Talking Stick Golf Club is looking for friendly, professional, and service-driven Servers to join our Food & Beverage team. As a Server, you'll play a key role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests, whether they're joining us after a round of golf or celebrating a special occasion. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. A passion for hospitality and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Prior experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with a warm and welcoming attitude
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
  • Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring correct presentation and temperature
  • Be knowledgeable about menu items, daily specials, and promotions
  • Upsell and make menu suggestions to enhance the guest experience
  • Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service and problem-solving
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Process payments accurately and handle cash/credit transactions
  • Assist with tournament event setups, breakdowns, and other support as needed in a food and beverage capacity

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of high-volume, fast-paced resort-style service experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift trays up to 25 lbs
  • Current Arizona Food Handler’s Card and Title 4 Certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays
