[Remote] Manager, Supply Acquisition (Hotels)

As the Supply Acquisition Manager, you will manage a team of Account Executives to drive hotel acquisition and implement business development strategies, ensuring a motivating environment for your team while collaborating with various cross-functional teams.


Responsibilities

  • Hire, train and develop a team of Account Executives responsible for owning 100% of hotel acquisition at Airbnb
  • Provide 1:1 coaching and support to your team of reports
  • Build a competitive and motivating environment for your team - cultivate a culture of success
  • Create, structure, and implement business development processes and operating systems within the Hotels team
  • Plan resource allocation, forecast growth, and monitor pipeline
  • Track and report key growth metrics to assess individual and team performance
  • Continually ideate and test innovative business development tactics to improve new client acquisition processes
  • Drive growth strategy and define clear vision for future sales organization
  • Develop best practices and collateral to provide guidance and support to the Global Hotels team
  • Collaborate with Account Management, Enterprise Operations, Tax, Legal, and other cross functional teams to ensure successful execution of the business development strategy
  • Travel to different locations to meet with potential partners (30-50%)

Skills

  • 12+ years of professional experience in business development with a focus on driving customer acquisition and business strategy
  • 4+ years of direct management experience with successful sales tactics with high integrity to support the team
  • Undergraduate Degree
  • Proven track record of motivating and inspiring your team to meet and exceed monthly quota
  • Experienced leader capable of developing and building teams
  • Ability to inspire and motivate people
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to comfortably interface and present to leadership
  • Ability to define a clear strategic vision for how to grow Hotels channel at Airbnb
  • Comfort giving and receiving feedback
  • A proven track record of leading projects and working cross functionality
  • Experience using sales tools such as Linkedin, Salesforce, Mixmax, etc.
  • Have a passion for redefining travel, Airbnb, and delivering excellence!
