Position Summary The Pharmacy Technician II, Data Entry ensures accurate prescription processing, supports team collaboration, and upholds performance excellence. Duties and Responsibilities Processes new orders promptly and accurately, reviews patient profiles, and updates records using multiple software programs with strong attention to detail. Verifies patient and prescription information for accuracy and transfers clarifications to the appropriate team as needed. Maintains compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act guidelines to protect patient information and ensure confidentiality. Exceeds production standards and Key Performance Indicators for data entry processing while demonstrating reliability through excellent attendance and punctuality.
