About the position

The Member Service Representative at Navy Federal Credit Union is responsible for providing a comprehensive range of banking products and services to members and prospective members. This role involves performing moderately complex banking functions under supervision, assisting members with various account-related inquiries, and training lower-level team members. The position emphasizes effective communication, problem-solving, and compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans
  • ,
  • Assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications
  • ,
  • Counsel current and prospective members about Navy Federal's products and services

  • Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly
