LMS Admin & Learning Specialist

<strong>Position Summary<br><br></strong>This role, sitting on the Milliman, Global Corporate Services (GCS) Learning and Development Team, will provide administration for our Learning Management System (LMS) as well as coordination of our training programs. This role will be responsible for the administration, support, and maintenance of our LMS (Absorb) and coordinating successful execution learning programs for our global audience. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless learning operations and contribute to the ongoing development of our workforce.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><strong>LMS Administration:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Manage day-to-day operations of the LMS, including systems configuration, data flow and integration with other company systems, curricula, catalogs, learner assignments, troubleshooting, and reporting.</li><li>Act as the primary liaison with the LMS vendor (Absorb) to plan for product releases and system enhancements, as well as identify opportunities for continuous improvement.</li><li>Manage other technologies used in the communication and delivery of interactive programming, to include SharePoint, Teams, Zoom, and other virtual learning platforms, as well as course development software such as Canva, Articulate360, and more. </li><li>Manage access and permissions. Establish and maintain governance protocols for LMS management and use by power users/admins throughout Milliman.</li><li>Act swiftly to manage system challenges or unexpected issues with internal clients.</li><li>Consult with practices for learning or compliance learning paths.</li><li>Provide technical support and training for LMS users and administrators as needed.</li><li>Provide technical support for LinkedIn Learning integration and other purchased content.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Program Coordination<br><br></strong><ul><li>In partnership with L&D team, maintain annual learning calendar.</li><li>Lead scheduling, administering, and tracking of learning sessions, courses, and programs.</li><li>Coordinate with the L&D, Events, and Internal Communications teams for the communication and execution of core learning programs and L&D portions of company forums and meetings.</li><li>Monitor attendance/completion, feedback, and contribute to evaluation of learning effectiveness.<br><br></li></ul><strong>General L&D Support<br><br></strong><ul><li>Maintain all SOPs and instructions related to the LMS.</li><li>Manage the L&D inbox, in partnership with the Learning Operations team and serving as the primary responder during US operating hours.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Skills & Qualifications Required<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.</li><li>The ideal candidate must have minimum of 3 years of LMS management experience (Absorb or similar platform) in a complex corporate structure.</li><li>The ideal candidate must have minimum of 3 years of training coordination experience, managing multiple programs.</li><li>The ideal candidate must have expert proficiency in MS Office 365.</li><li>Must have demonstrated ability to engage with end-users and stakeholders with patience, professionalism, and curiosity.</li><li>Must be detail-oriented, with superior organization and communication skills.</li><li>Must have excellent planning and documentation skills with meticulous attention to detail.</li><li>Must have strong process orientation, with the ability to recommend and implement changes for process improvement.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Skills & Qualifications Preferred<br><br></strong><ul><li>Knowledge of using SCORM and API integrations.</li><li>Proficiency with PowerBI or other data analysis tools.</li><li>Experience creating training dashboards and tracking metrics.</li><li>Experience developing learning materials, using standard L&D software.<br><br></li></ul><strong>LOCATION:<br><br></strong>This is a remote role. This job posting is expected to close on April 10th, 2026.<br><br><strong>Compensation<br><br></strong>The overall salary range for this role is $54,900 - $97,865. For candidates residing in:<br><br><ul><li>Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Newark, San Jose, San Francisco, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the salary range is $63,135- $97,865.</li><li>All other locations the salary range is $54,900 - $85,100.<br><br></li></ul>A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.<br><br><strong>Benefits<br><br></strong>We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees’ health, financial security, and well-being.
