Java Software Developer - Java - Mostly Remote working

Are you a Software Developer with a passion for open-source technology, such as Java, to work on innovative real-time solutions? We're looking for a Software Engineer with strong Java & SQL skills to join our growing client in Warrington! The role can be mostly remote, with 1 day a week in the Warrington office

Experience required:

  • Hands-on Java Development experience
  • RESTful API / SOAP Web Services
  • Spring Boot
  • Software version control systems (GIT / Subversion)
  • Enjoy collaborating, sharing knowledge, and learning from others.
  • If you come from a cloud background in AWS, this would be a bonus, as would be some DevOps knowledge

They are a dynamic software team of six, focused on developing cutting-edge solutions & you'll work with the latest open-source technologies to create scalable, high-performance applications that power real-time solutions.

  • Hands-On Development - Work on new projects from the ground up, using technologies like Java, JavaScript, JQuery and SQL.
  • Team Collaboration - Join a supportive and skilled team where you can build your expertise and contribute to meaningful projects.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain software applications using a range of technologies
  • Production of software designs & prototyping high-quality software
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Work on both backend and frontend tasks, with opportunities to specialise over time.
  • Work on some BAU and support tasks
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies to bring fresh ideas and best practices to the team.
