About the position

Responsibilities

  • Implement global tools and processes to ensure brand cohesion and alignment with the strategic merchandising plan.
  • Develop and implement merchandise strategies aligned with company goals, seasonal trends, and customer insights.
  • Assist with the alignment and execution of seasonal key stories in product assortments, placement/zoning, and marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze product performance and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on key metrics to inform stakeholders and drive business results.
  • Collaborate with planning and category teams to align franchise strategies across global teams.
  • Partner with design, marketing, and product line management to drive and align on product vision, storytelling, and go-to market.
  • Work with regional merchandising teams to tailor assortments for diverse markets.
  • Maintain regular communication with key global and regional cross-functional partners, including Planning, Marketing, Design, and Development.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the regional retail landscape to identify and validate product needs, opportunities, and gaps.
  • Monitor industry trends, consumer behaviors, and competitor activities to inform decision-making.
  • Propose innovative solutions and concepts to enhance the customer experience and brand storytelling.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
  • Contribute to creating a consumer-focused and data-driven Retail culture, balancing the art and science to drive the brand forward.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in merchandising, marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 3+ years of progressive experience in merchandising, product creation, or retail; footwear experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to communicate and implement merchandising strategies effectively.
  • Strong retail math skills and experience managing open-to-buy processes.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional matrix environment.
  • Knowledge of international fashion/trends with the ability to translate them into commercial concepts.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English required.
