This supports clinician targets, the organization's vision, strategic goals, and best practices. This position drives optimal use of clinical information systems and technology. It relates to patient care, safety, user satisfaction, clinical productivity, and quality outcomes. Serves as a key link between people, process, clinical knowledge, and technology.</p><p><b>Essential Functions of the Role</b></p><ul><li>Uses knowledge of BSWH policies, procedures, and processes to offer help, guidance, and feedback for improvements, testing, education, and upgrades. Knows about one or more service line workflows and their impact on technology. Helps the operational advocate for a service line and participates in user acceptance testing.</li><li>Demonstrates knowledge of health care regulations and their impact on workflows and functionality through journal clubs, debates, or educational workshops.</li><li>Assists with investigating and stating problems. Solves complex problems across service lines or business units. Frequently seeks advice from peers and supervisor. Follows up with customers during and after service delivery to ensure needs are met.</li><li>Demonstrates ability to organize project tasks against milestones and deliverables with minimal supervision. Manages time to meet all project milestones and deliverable dates. Escalates issues with task assignment and milestones appropriately. Seeks opportunities to lead low complexity enhancements or specific project activities.</li><li>Partners with EPIC training team and CIL/CIM to develop head/clinical communication. Assists with discovery and design sessions. Develops basic presentation and meeting facilitation skills. Displays a positive attitude in the face of ambiguity and change.</li><li>Serves as a resource to end users for information systems and technology. Completes rounding in assigned inpatient/outpatient areas.</li><li>Provides ongoing help for upgrades, new releases, and enhanced functionality. Effectively communicates system changes, workflow process changes, and downtime procedures to all clinicians and providers.</li><li>Participates in CI council. Assumes additional responsibilities to facilitate the achievement of team goals.</li><li>Sets clear self-development expectations. Demonstrates initiative in professional self-development. Initiates partnerships with others and assists them in their work.</li></ul><p><b>Key Success Factors</b></p><ul><li>Two or more years of experience in a clinical environment required. Two or more years of experience in an informatics role preferred.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field preferred.</li><li>Licensed clinician such as nurse, physical therapist, occupational therapist, pharmacy technician, dietitian, respiratory therapist, etc. preferred.</li><li>Excellent communication (verbal and written), social and organizational skills.</li><li>Self-directed with excellent organization, critical and social skills.</li><li>Sound knowledge of clinical practice as it pertains to the integration of clinical information systems/technology and impact on end users.</li><li>Able to effectively utilize resources with fiscal responsibility in planning, implementation, and evaluation.</li><li>Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Knowledge of clinical practice issues and compliance with current standards/competencies and regulatory bodies.</li><li>Able to manage multiple projects.</li></ul><p><b>Belonging Statement</b></p><p>We believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued and supported, and that our workforce should be reflective of the communities we serve.</p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b></p><ul><li>EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification</li><li>EXPERIENCE - 2 Years of Experience</li></ul>
