Job Title: Caregiver

Employment Type: Full-Time (Residential)

Salary: ₦150,000 - ₦200,000 Net Monthly

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide personal care and daily support to an elderly woman who is currently unwell. The ideal candidate should be patient, attentive, and experienced in caring for elderly individuals with health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Administer prescribed medication as instructed.
  • Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, or appetite to the family or medical professionals.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Accompany the patient to hospital appointments when required.
  • Perform basic housekeeping duties related to the patient's care.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a caregiver or nurse aide (experience with elderly care preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety standards.
  • Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be respectful, trustworthy, and emotionally stable.
  • Reside on-site at VGC (accommodation provided).
